Home Affordable Modification Program or HAMP, is a
government programs that was designed to help to lower monthly payments. Making
home payments affordable was the number one goal when this program was
created. Of course with everything,
there are eligibility requirements! The HAMP program may be able to lower your
monthly payments and help you to keep your home!
Certain terms and conditions apply as follows:
- Occupy your home as a primary residence
- Be currently Employed
- Your loan may also be eligible :
- For rental properties
- For Homeowners who did not qualify due to debt to income ratios
- For Homeowners who previously received a HAMP trial period but ended up defaulting during their trials period
- For Distressed Homeowners who had a prior Home Affordable Modification Program or HAMP Approved permanently and defaulted on their payments.
